ASTM A790 UNS S32205 Duplex Steel Pipe is a standard developed by the American Society for Testing and Materials specifically for duplex stainless steel pipes.
UNS S32205 stainless steel pipe is a duplex stainless steel containing 22% chromium and 3% molybdenum, also known as W.Nr. 1.4462 alloy. Compared with 317L stainless steel, UNS S32205 performs better in resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion.
